SALES ENGINEER (M/F/D), location in USA
YOUR MISSION
For our International Sales Team we are looking for a Sales Engineer with location in USA (any part of the country).
You have a solid technical background in automation and/or machines building and/or robotics/servo drive technology - as well as strong sales skills with a strategic mindset. You are able to increase sales from new and exciting business in a defined territory. Upselling and maintaining existing customers is another essential part of your daily work.
You will reach out to new customers, introduce them to our innovative solutions and effectively demonstrate how these solutions can be customised to their specific needs and how they can benefit from our technologies. Taking a lead role in customer implementation, you will work to create product plans, negotiate, finalise contracts and ensure their satisfaction.
You should be able to effectively and independently communicate all our technology aspects fluently and build long-term strategic relationships with our customers.
YOUR TASKS
Building strong and long-term business relationships with existing customers
Identifying, managing and developing new potential sales channels/customers (cold calling)
Negotiating terms and conditions and framework agreements with customers and distribution partners
Developing a long-term strategy for each channel and customer to achieve targeted sales growth.
Mediator between company and customers
Provide effective product demonstrations to customers using Synapticon sales standards
Understanding customers' technical and business requirements and translating them into Synapticon solutions
Training distributors to position and sell Synapticon products
Assisting at trade shows and other marketing events
Provide operational, technical and commercial reports on a weekly basis
Close cooperation with:
Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer to develop account strategies and tactics
Application engineering team and project manager
Marketing Manager
YOUR PROFILE
Technical and commercial background in the industrial sector or sales background in industrial automation or mechanical engineering or machines building
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Proven track record of sales performance in the automation and/or machines building
Experience in selling technical products to development and production managers and engineers coupled with professional experience and profound technological (servo drive / robotics / embedded systems) insight
Enthusiastic professional attitude when dealing with customers and excellent follow up
Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed assigned targets
Superior and proven time management skills
