YOUR MISSION

You are the one who gives the final touch, the one who is there in the field when everything suddenly starts working altogether, then this is your call. Application Engineers at Synapticon use their hands-on experience to take what is a great platform product and turn it into an even greater solution for our customers. Acting worldwide, you will be dealing with light industrial automation, autonomous systems, industrial and consumer robots.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop turn-key motion and robotics solutions based on Synapticon technology
  • Work directly with customers to understand their requirements and identify product solutions
  • Provide technical support for drive products to both colleagues and customers

REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or equivalent
  • Significant experience working with motion control systems
  • Experienced in working with BLDC and DC motors
  • Experienced in programming embedded systems (C, C++ and Python preferred, EtherCAT, PROFINET)
  • Knowledge of basic Motion Control Theory: Open/Closed Loop, PID and tuning methods
  • Knowledge of basis Electronics: Sensor calibration, filtering (analog and/or digital), instrument communication basics
  • Knowledge of basis Control Systems Engineering: Motor and encoder types and their specification & application
  • Electrical: Cable specification, noise immunity, safe design and working practices

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong experience with Microcontroller programming
  • Experience with Electronics Design (Altium Designer or similar)
  • Git knowledge
  • Experience with Linux
