
APPLICATION ENGINEER ROBOTICS & MOTION CONTROL (M/F/D)

YOUR MISSION
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop turn-key motion and robotics solutions based on Synapticon technology
- Work directly with customers to understand their requirements and identify product solutions
- Provide technical support for drive products to both colleagues and customers
REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or equivalent
- Significant experience working with motion control systems
- Experienced in working with BLDC and DC motors
- Experienced in programming embedded systems (C, C++ and Python preferred, EtherCAT, PROFINET)
- Knowledge of basic Motion Control Theory: Open/Closed Loop, PID and tuning methods
- Knowledge of basis Electronics: Sensor calibration, filtering (analog and/or digital), instrument communication basics
- Knowledge of basis Control Systems Engineering: Motor and encoder types and their specification & application
- Electrical: Cable specification, noise immunity, safe design and working practices
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong experience with Microcontroller programming
- Experience with Electronics Design (Altium Designer or similar)
- Git knowledge
- Experience with Linux
