INTERNSHIP SENSORS AND ACTUATORS FOR ROBOTICS (M/F/D)
HACKING THE PHYSICS AND ECONOMICS OF MOTION CONTROL WITH DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY
At Synapticon we’re reshaping the world of motion control for robotics and machinery at the point of motion.
The company introduces an entirely new approach to motion axes by integrating formerly discrete components, such as motors, drives, sensors and gearboxes into seamless units and digitising performance and quality factors that are so far dependent on costly mechanical manufacturing. Innovation leaders around the world choose to work with Synapticon to path their way into the future of intelligent, motion control-related systems. Be part of it, join Synapticon!
YOUR TASKS
As an Intern in the field of Sensors and Actuators for Robotics you will push the limits of performance for our highly integrated servo drives. Together with you, we will tailor your job-profile around some of the following key areas:
Hands-on on our latest products and prototypes!
Integrated encoder systems: performance validation and quality control
Validation of model-based control algorithms in simulation and in hardware using a rapid control prototyping system (Speedgoat)
Participation in motion control features development and testing
General support of the Validation Team
Testbench design and operation
System based product and function validation
About the Validation Team at Synapticon
To ensure that all the awesome features and products developed by our engineers can exceed in every situation, they pass through the lab of the validation team first. We are responsible for understanding and validating the system level requirement for every function and product developed, aid with parameterization of features, rating of products and system level support during development and pre-development. For this we use state of the art measurement equipment in addition to custom test benches designed in house. We are responsible for the whole validation process, including prototyping of functions, test scenario and setup planning, test bench development, data acquisition, data evaluation and result documentation. In addition to this we also aid the developers with improvement suggestions and knowledge of the overall system.
